This blog post serves the sole purpose of a statement of intent if you will. This is just to outline what I wanted to do with this next stage, the whys and a clarification for what the next few blog posts are. The information here applies for all models and I chose to make a separate blog post for it so I did not have to repeat myself in each. So in my attempt to steer away from the usual manner in which I carry out a project and also flesh out the development stage a lot more, I decided to take my 11 sketches and pick a few that I liked to then model in Lego. Lego for three reason, one it's what I have on hand, two I'm used to it so no time will be wasted trying to learn a new process, these models should be quick. I'll learn new processes when it comes to the final model. Third and final reason I think it's a great way to model, it's not permanent, I can constantly change the model and not have to worry about wasted wood for example. In total I modelled 5 of my sketches.
