Last part of the brief, the final 3 weeks, the final stretch, where the final outcome is created. Getting this brief really makes the clock tick, 3 weeks in this project seems to fly by. I've done multiple 3 week projects this year and was able to create good outcomes within the time frame, but these 3 weeks don't feel the same, even-though I have less to do. All I need is to create the final piece and to my surprise I also need to figure out how I would like to present it to my targeted audience. Who even really is my audience, and how are architectural projects even presented, this isn't a case of putting it in a gallery like the brief says, because the goal behind an architectural project is to have it built, even though that won't happen with mine I'd like to carry the project as if it would get built. I think this goes back to something I've mentioned before and that is the way I approach it. Like I said before I'm at a stage where none of my designs will get built, so choosing to put realism aside and designing a building that cannot be made isn't wrong. In that case my final outcome can be a lot more artistic let's say, like Archigram's drawings, and then putting it in a gallery seems more appropriate. On the other hand if I chose that I want to be realistic then the outcome cannot be as artistic and it wouldn't come in the form of a gallery piece but a presentation/proposal for commissioners. So I think a choice needs to be made pretty soon because depending on the choice the final outcome, audience and the way it will be presented will be different. I also think that from a certain point after that decision has been made it cannot be changed. So I'll think about that decision and make a blog post about it.
