Breaking Apart to Rebuild

What I did next was to go on Sketchup, and break apart my building in order to get the measurements for the model. So what I did was make shape nets for all the structures. The scale of the model is 1:1000 so I took all the measurements from my digital model which were in metres, I however treated them as centimetres and simply multiplied all the value by 10 to get millimetres which is what the measurements are for the laser cutter software. Sketched all the 2D shapes, and labelled each side. Some of the measurements were reduced by 3.6mm to accommodate for the woods thickness. In some places however I didn't account for that thickness which leads to unpleasants corners, which I'm annoyed at myself for doing.
