Here I was tasked to draw, draw and draw my pegs, in different ways, with different mediums and different angles.
These 3 drawings were all created in different ways. The bottom right is a continuous line, I liked this exercise because it made me think, I couldn't just place my pen anywhere, at least thats what I thought. after a few seconds I back-tracked and just went over my lines do go in the direction I wanted. Top right is a left hand drawing, and I am clearly not ambidextrous, I have never seen such raggedy lines. Last and maybe least is the left one, which was done with my eyes closed. It looks like calculated chaos and it's my favorite out of the 3 although it looks nothing like a peg.
For the chalk on black paper I was just trying to repeat the shape, in hopes to create something, what at the time I couldn't tell you because I have no clue. but writing this after my Final design has been figured out it's funny to see that I was not far from one of my structures.
Just overlapping all the different shapes and components of the peg, once again some parts of the drawing really resemble one of my final design.
Bigger and Smaller I believe this was called. I really like the smaller one, the lines are expressive and I think its one of the only one of the drawings of the peg, where the peg actually looks somewhat good.
This is my favorite from the bunch, and what makes it my favorite is the texture of the yellow chalk and charcoal that I believe was not intentional, but the result of papers rubbing during transportation. But anyways it's nice; that whole right portion of the drawing is very abstract and I often find myself getting lost in the lines when looking at it.
