Idea no.1 is an underground tube-like structure. the focus in idea no.1 is the roof which is very similar to that of the Yad Vashem museum in Israel. Idea no. 2 is essentially the anti-terrorist blocks that surround the square. Only holes have been cut out to allow light and once again an underground section is added. Idea no.3 is the the fender of the orange luxury coaches. And surprise surprise once again there is a staircase leading down.
Idea no.4 is a block designed around a central courtyard that would have a glass floor to allow light to penetrate underground. the idea is that around the underground portion, the floor would still be dug so you could see it from street level. Idea no.5 is the front grill from the orange luxury coaches that would have stairs wrapping around it leading to a platform at the top that would serve as a observatory. That design reminded me of the Vanke Pavilion. Idea no. 6 was again playing around with the coaches fender and the line of like old books laid flat. Then I simply placed an oval atop the structure to create light wells, but also as a hint to the oval gardens that once existed on Windrush square.
Idea no. 7 is that Yad Vashem roof again only this time it is place on top of this archway, that i believe i drew from the coach parts. There was just a lot of elegant lines on those vintage buses that inspired me. Idea no.8 is 2 ovals, one the floor, the other the roof that are connected by these slanted pillars.
No.9 was inspired by Buzludzha monument, which was house of the communist party in Bulgaria. ultimately it is just a redesign of it, but I wanted to have this 4 way staircase inside that would lead to a central platform where people could look at a bright orange ceiling with an oval hole at the top where the sky could be observed. Idea no.10 is too big cylinder pillars with each a different staircase leasing to a bridge. one tower would have a circular staircase that would be standing in the middle of the pillars whilst the other would have a staircase that follows the cylinder upwards where the steps would hug the walls creating this hole in the middle.
